Rates

It can be helpful to first discuss with your GP whether you could be referred to a public mental health service, this will depend on the severity of your psychological difficulties. Your GP will also be able to discuss with you any other funding pathways that may be available to you.

For privately funded support, a referral is not necessary, you can email directly. The rate per 50 minute session is currently $235. Payment can be made via invoice/bank transfer.

Some health insurers offer funding for psychological support so it is worth checking your policy to see whether this may be included.

Sometimes fees can be paid through ACC or your workplace. I am registered as a named full treatment and specialist assessment provider for ACC sensitive claims.

Report Writing:

Clinical psychologists can provide specialist assessments which can include writing reports. Report writing is charged at the same hourly rate seen above.

Cancellations:

Any appointment made will be kept specifically for you, and if you can no longer attend, it may be able to offered to someone else. If you need to cancel or postpone an appointment, you will need to provide notice of at least 24 hours (or on a Friday for Monday sessions), otherwise you will be charged the cost of the session. If unable to attend due to illness, a cancellation fee may still apply if less than 24 hours notice is provided.
